Ahhh, what an absolute delight it was to spend the day with Carolyn and Paul for their elopement! These two love birds travelled down to Brighton from the West, and stayed at The Grand hotel on the seafront over the Easter weekend.
It was just bride, groom, me, and my assistant – and we had a ball! I’ve shot a lot of small weddings, but this is the most intimate that it can get! We met at The Grand for some “getting ready” photos, then wandered along to the town hall. My assistant, Serkan, and I acted as witnesses at the ceremony, then it was off for a wander around the city, grabbing photos along the way! I love shooting like this!
We hit up the lanes, the bandstand, and the pier. We had a first dance to buskers on New Road, fed walnuts to pigeons in Pavillion Gardens, and threw chips onto the beach to get seagulls to swarm the newly-weds!
We took a trip up the i360 for panoramic views of the city, then grabbed cocktails at the lounge in The Grand! It was such a fun day, and Carolyn and Paul are just such a sweet couple! Huge congratulations, you two! There is such a warm and loving energy between Carolyn and Paul – wishing you both all the happiness in your marriage!
